A few years ago, my wife and I decided to invest in a plot of land and build our own house on it. We knew it would take a lot of time and effort, but the project would pay off in the end when we had our perfect house for little money. We did hire a few contractors to complete some tasks, such as electrical, but my brothers and I did most of the building. I learned a lot during that time, so I want to use my experience to help others who are building their own houses or thinking of it.
